Your suggestion for a "parameterisation" of conjugacy class and centralizer

Dear Christopher, dear GAP-forum,
I have now computed the centralizer orders and character degrees of the
groups E_7(2) and E_8(2). The results are put on Web-pages which can
be found via:
http://www.math.rwth-aachen.de/~Frank.Luebeck/chev
There are also GAP readable files containing lists of these numbers.
(Actually, I have computed the centralizer orders and character degrees
generically for all groups E_7(q) and E_8(q), q a prime power, and then
specialized to q=2.)
Comments and further questions are welcome (but maybe better sent
directly to me instead of the whole GAP forum).
With best regards,
Frank
