[GAP Forum] Support for gap in emacs

Dear all,

I would like to have an environment in emacs that fits nicely
with the GAP code and its syntactic peculiarities.

This should normally not be a problem, but unfortunately it
does not appear to be available.

On https://www.gap-system.org/Faq/faq.html there are two pointers
for this emacs package:

1) In
https://www.gap-system.org/Manuals/doc/ref/chap6.html#X7B67FF1E87FE67D1
it is said that the data is in the "etc" directory available in releases.
Unfortunately for emacs there is only one README file that contains
a pointer: ftp://ftp.gap-system.org/pub/gap/gap44/deposit/external/emacs/
which is now dead.

2) In https://www.gap-system.org/Packages/Contrib/emacs.html
there is a pointer to the https://bitbucket.org/gvol/gap-mode but it is also
a dead link.

Could the link be cleaned up? Does there exist a useful file for editing
gap files under emacs?
