[GAP Forum] Finding Subgroups of a given group and given index

Hi Ayoub,

you can use the "Subgroups" command from the SONATA-Library and Filter the subgroups with the correct index:

gap> G:=SmallGroup(432,1);
<pc group of size 432 with 7 generators>
gap> 432/16;                        
27
gap> S:=Filtered(Subgroups(G), i-> Size(i)=27);;

Now S contains a list of all Subgroups of G with Index 16.
