[GAP Forum] AppendTo problem with large strings

Dear Helge Ruddat, Dear GAP-Forum,

In GRAPE 4.2 I use text-file streams to communicate with 
external programs, with print formatting switched off
(via the GAP function  SetPrintFormattingStatus ).
For an example of this, look at the function  AutGroupGraph
in  pkg/grape/lib/grape.g
