[GAP Forum] New package 'if', that provides interface to Maple and other systems

Dear forum members,
this is to announce a new Gap package, named 'if' (for InterFaces) that 
provides interfaces from Gap to Maple and other computer algebra systems 
(CoCoA, SINGULAR, PLURAL, KANT/KASH, PARI/GP, Risa/Asir,
MuPAD, Macaulay 2, Mathematica, Aribas).

The interface to Maple is working (tried with Linux and Unix, Gap 4.3 and 4.4, 
Maple from 6 to 10), but not yet exhaustively tested. The interfaces to the 
other systems are still under construction.
