[GAP Forum] GAP4r4p5 and DirectoryTemporary() on Windows 2000 revisited

Dear GAP Support and GAP Windows users,
 
The latest version of the cygwin1.dll (1.5.17) released on 27 May corrects the problems with temporary directories caused by the version of the dll released with GAP4r4p5.
I have run some minimal tests and have found no problems; however, more thorough tests are probably called for before placing this version of cygwin1.dll into general use with GAP.
