[GAP Forum] segfault after call of FLOAT_STRING

Hi list,

following occured when investigating the rudiments of the float.c in the
gap core.

gap> FLOAT_STRING(21);
Segmentation Fault

The error has been in the core since at least May 2002 (gap4.3r3) and is
even in the most recent version of gap.
