Try something like
AppendToFile := function ( file, s )
local otf;
otf := OutputTextFile( file, true );
SetPrintFormattingStatus( otf, false );
AppendTo( otf, s );
CloseStream( otf );
end;
Where s is what you want to write in the file

What do you mean with "gags"?
Try an other directory.
