Dear GAP User
May I remind GAP users about applying bugfixes and tell members
of the GAP FORUM about some of the services that GAP gives to its users.
Bugfixes
Bugfixes are announced in the Forum. You may also consult the
GAP web site for full information on bugfixes, additions, updates as
soon as they become available. For GAP4 b4 see
http://www-gap.dcs.st-and.ac.uk/~gap/Info4/bugfixes.html
We apologise for the bother it gives you applying bugfixes but may
we ask that you take this trouble so that we know when bugs are found
they are not a consequence of an earlier discovered but unfixed bug.
GAP-Forum
The GAP-Forum is where news about GAP 3 and GAP 4 is posted.
It is mainly for discussions and questions from users.
GAP-Trouble
gap-trouble@dcs.st-and.ac.uk
This is the address to which requests for technical advice on GAP 3 and
GAP 4 should be sent. Please use this address for reporting suspected bugs
as well as for technical questions which will not be of wide interest.
With gap-trouble used in this way the Forum will not swamp people
with mail.
