Dear GAP-forum,

We just want to inform everybody that XGAP for GAP4 is now available
as a Beta-Version. We plan to submit it for formal acceptance as GAP4
share package.

There is also a file "README.xgap" describing the installation.

Note that this version runs with GAP4b5 Fix 4 or with the current
development version of GAP4. There are however some features that need
recent changes in the development version and are not yet available
with GAP4b5. They will work with the upcoming 4.1 release.
