Dear Colleagues,

This is clearly an installation problem that concerns only very few
GAP users. Could we please shift its further discussion to
'gap-trouble' which has been organized for such cases.

Generally, could questions of this kind please be sent to
'gap-trouble', where a group of rather experienced users of GAP in
Aachen and abroad will read them and try to provide an answer. Only if
this group does not know an answer or if the problem is likely to
concern a greater number of users will we then post it to the forum.

This way we try to save some 250 participants of the GAP-forum from
mail that does not concern them.
