Dear GAP Forum,
Hmmm...OK, I found another problem. As far as I can tell, the -l option
doesn't work on my installation. After messing around with the shell
script for a while and various experimentation with soft and hard links, I
realized that even explicitly spelling out the call
/usr/local/lib/gap4r2/bin/i386-unknown-freebsd4.2-gcc/gap -l /usr/local/lib/gap4r2
at the prompt doesn't work. I get:
gap: hmm, I cannot find 'lib/init.g' maybe use option '-l <gaproot>'?
gap>
Any ideas here?
