We are pleased to be able to announce an Instructional Workshop in
Computational Algebra which will take place in St Andrews September 1st-5th
2003. GAP will feature centrally in this, of course, and we hope to meet many
present or future GAP forum members there. I attach the announcement below,

>NETCA Instructional Workshop on Computational AlgebraThe Centre for Interdisciplinary Research in Computational Algebra
(CIRCA) at the University of St Andrews will be holding an
instructional workshop in Computational Algebra from September 1st to
5th 2003.The workshop will feature
* short courses and individual lectures by invited speakers, linked
to hands-on lab sessions;
* an introduction to GAP and plenty of opportunities to try it out
in the labs, and
* opportunities to describe your own research interests and discuss
them with others.Meals and accommodation will be provided in student residences. Names
of speakers and other information will be made available as soon as
possible.The workshop will be aimed primarily at UK graduate students and
research staff, although all are welcome. Thanks to generous support
from NETCA the EPSRC funded Research Network in Computer Algebra,
we expect to be able to offer support with travel and/or accommodation
to any UK participants who need it.Registration: will be available as soon as possible. The conference
fee will be £20 per person until 1 June, £25 thereafter.If you might be interested in taking part, and would like to receive
