Though there is no generic method to convert an algebra presentation to a
group presentation, there are approaches that might work in your specific
cases. In principle it would be possible to implement such an approach in
GAP (avoiding GAP's unital algebras at all by using a matrix
representation), but this would require the implementation of substantial
parts of code.

I don't know how important these calculations would be for you and how much
work you are willing to invest (or whether you can persuade another person
to undertake such work): We can tell you in principle what has to be done
and give at least pointers to the necessary methods. So if you want to
write the routines yourself please send us an eMail and we will try to get
you on track with this work.
