I am afraid that only people currently resident or studying in the UK
are eligible for this.

There is a joint EPSRC/GCHQ funded PhD studentship available at
Warwick University starting in October 1999. The title of the
project is "Computation in Finite Permutation Groups". Candidates
should have some knowledge of Group Theory and also have some experience in
computer programming.
