Dear forum members,

the pre-compiled binary (application) for GAP 4.2 bugfix 1 is now
available for download via the web site and ftp server in St.
Andrews. (Note that it may take a day or so for the GAP mirror sites
to update).

The new binary corrects problem 8, reported in the bugfix
announcement, which occurs when computing the gcd of integers, where
one of the arguments is negative, and the other is zero.

Apologies for the delay, which was due to my absence from my
university for the last three weeks.
