this is to announce that the Macintosh version of GAP 4 beta 5 is finally
available from the usual servers (see below). Apologies for the delay,
which is ue to the fact that I have been changing my workplace twice within
the last six months. Many thanks to the GAP group at St. Andrews
and the Mathematisches Institut in Jena for having supported my work on the
new version.
